This Privacy Policy for OPEX PMC describes our practices on the collection, use and disclosure of your information. When used herein, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to OPEX PMC..

Right to Lodge a complaint

    • Your full name and how we can contact you; and

This Privacy Policy governs your interaction with the Sites and your registration for and use of our online services (collectively, the “Services”). Except as set forth within this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use Agreement and other published guidelines, we do not release personal information about our users and visitors without their permission. This Privacy Policy only applies to information collected by the Sites and mobile applications that link to this privacy policy. Accordingly, we encourage you to review the entire Privacy Policy. 

Data Protection

OPEX PMC values your privacy, your information is stored in a secure database and access is limited by authorized persons. In addition, we have contracted with selected companies in other countries to provide customer service assistance on our behalf. If you would like to remove your name from these lists, have questions about our privacy practices or need to confirm accuracy of your information.

How do we collect information about you
when you register for an event and/or subscribe to any of our publications, the registration form includes notices about privacy and requests for consent. Those privacy notices (called privacy statements) specify in more detail how any information about you may be used and disclosed. In particular, you consent to us collecting, maintaining, using and disclosing personal information about you and provided by you or by another person in accordance with the privacy statement in the application form and this policy.
The personal information we collect from these sources is your salutation, name, job title, mobile and email address. We also collect business information being your company’s name and address, your business telephone and fax numbers and a short profile of the company you work for. As well, we collect personal information about you from publicly available sources, or when legally required to do so.

 How we use personal information: 

We may use the personal information a user submits for the following purposes:

  1. To understand a user’s needs and create content that is relevant to the user;
  2. To generate statistical studies;
  3. To conduct market research and planning by sending user surveys;
  4. To notify user referrals of OPEX PMC services, information, or products when a user requests that OPEX PMC send such information;

  6. To help a user complete a transaction, or provide services or customer support to users and to recipients of our products;
  7. To communicate with the user and with recipients of our products and services;
  8. To email users about services, information, products and offers from our business partners.
  9. To personalize the Site for the user;

We do not collect personal information by unlawful or unfair means, nor in an unreasonably intrusive way. In particular, we do not use electronic harvesting software, nor do we use lists which have been generated by means of such software.

How do we use and disclose your information

At times we use third party companies to collect personal information and communicate with you via email or telephone on our behalf, in accordance with the Act.  In all of these communications we ensure you will clearly be able to identify us.

Security of your information

OPEX PMC employs strict security procedure to ensure that information will not be misused, and to prevent unauthorized access modification or disclosure.
We also, as part of our updating procedures, ensure that any personal information no longer needed by us is either destroyed or modified so that you can no longer be identified.

Sensitive Information
OPEX PMC does not collect sensitive information about an individual

 

Your rights

You may ask us, or we may ask you, to rectify information that you or we think is inaccurate, and you may also ask us to remove information which is inaccurate or to complete information which is incomplete (‘right to rectification’). If you inform us that your personal data is inaccurate, we will correct our records.

We want to ensure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. If any of the information that you have provided us with changes, for example, if you change your email address, name or payment details, please let us know using the contact details at the end of this policy.

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by checking (or omitting to check) certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your data.  You can also exercise the right at any time by contacting us at data@epc7.com and please state the site it is in reference to.

You have a right to obtain your personal data from us and reuse it for your own purposes, without hindering the usability of the data (‘right of portability’). This right does not apply where processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of authority vested in us.

You have a right to ask for your data to be erased where it is no longer necessary for us to continue holding or processing your personal data and you may withdraw your consent. (Often referred to as the ‘right to be forgotten’). This right is not absolute, as we may need to continue processing this information, for example, to comply with our legal obligations, or for reasons of public interest. You should note that we are entitled to and reserve the right to retain your data for statistical purposes.

You have a right to ask us to restrict our processing of your information (‘right to restriction’) if:

  • you do not think it is accurate and we need to verify whether it is accurate
  • the processing is unlawful and you ask us to restrict its use instead of erasing it

Cookies – storing information on your computer

We also use cookies to collect some statistical data about visitors to our websites.  Cookies are small pieces of data stored on the web browser on your computer.  This website and associated websites (including those you reach by clicking on advertising) may store cookies on your browser.  The cookie doesn’t track any personal information about you or provide us with any way to contact you, and the cookie doesn’t extract any information from your computer.
The main reasons we store cookies are to:
